Billy's 1st Lost Tooth

So excited!

Billy first lost tooth

Those eyes just couldn't get any bigger! And check out that hole on the bottom!

Billy lost his first tooth on Saturday. We were at a baptism for two girls and during the refreshments, Billy showed me that his tooth was wiggly. He wiggled it all morning and afternoon. When Dad got home around 3 it only took him an hour or so to convince Billy to let him pull it out. He was so excited! He didn't whine or cry even a little when Carl took it out. Of course, by then it was almost out anyway. So, there's another Hartson first for us!

HERE WE GROW AGAIN

Billy, Ian and Carley just got a little bigger. Carl and I recently found out that we are expecting our 4th baby. That's right, Charity's pregnant... again!
This will probably be our last planned pregnancy as pre-term labor and pre-eclampsia have been prevalent in my pregnancies. We'll be watching the bcp's closely now! We do hope to continue to grow our family through foster care in the distant future.
For now, we are preparing for #4 and are considering letting his or her gender be a surprise. My due date is December 6th, so we should be having a November baby- as I have not been on time or late yet. Billy was 1 week early, Ian- over 4 weeks, and Carley- 3 weeks.
Sorry if I didn't get to tell you in person, but for those that I've missed, I didn't want you to wonder if it was a rumor. It's true!

Snow in April

I haven't shared pictures in quite awhile. So, here are some in our yard when we had that crazy day of snow in early April. HAHA LISA, 100 degrees- we're so lucky around here!

BAD MOM AWARD?

Today, I celebrate my 29th birthday. I have been kidding everyone that it will be my first of many 29th birthdays, but to be honest, I think next year I plan on embracing 30 gracefully. Today I have received flowers and balloons twice. I am so lucky. Everyone loves me :)
Now, the bad mom part. The kids have been arguing over the balloons. I got frustrated with dealing with them and decided I needed a time-out. I went to my room and sat on the bed, under the covers for about 4 minutes. When I came out, one child had all 4 balloons. That did it, I knew what to do. I took all 4 balloons and said, "If you can't share with each other, I'm not sharing with you." What a childish response! I can't believe I said it. Of course, now I must back it up, I said it, right? Who ever heard of a mom who won't share. Appalling! Oh well, Happy Birthday to me- still a child, I see.
